Ronald Farag, Sachi Kidd, Bill kidd, Dominic Coutts and Ross Murphy take the honors in the April Monthly Medal.

70 players competed over the Lakes course today, Friday 20th April, for the April Monthly Medal. The players presented with a golf course in stunning condition and with little breeze, produced excellent scoring conndition.The Katameya Dunes Monthly Medals are played in a stableford format in a variety of categories, with two categories for men, one for ladies and a separate category for juniors. There is also a best Guest category.

Ross Murphy, who managed 39 stableford points, took the Division A title for handicaps 0-18 by beating Rik Matkowski on countback. Sachi Kidd yet again produced another personal best round and won the ladies category with 41 points. Bill Kidd took the Junior gross category and young Dominic Coutts produced an outstanding 41 points to win the best junior net division . Zhang Jianjing took the Division B Men’s division with 38 points. The best gross title went to Ronny Farag who managed an impressive 76 gross giving him 32 gross stableford points. Mike Kidd finished runner up gross with 28 points.

The Katameya Dunes monthly medals count towards the 2012 Order Of merit, which will decide team selection in events like The Chairman’s Cup and other club events. Full updated Order of Merit to be published Sunday 22nd April
